Rose Badger Jardine
Mrs. Rose Badger Jardine, 71, died Friday at 3:45 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bonnie Hammer, 73 West Crystal Ave., of causes incident to age.
She was born in Fielding, Utah, Feb 15, 1877, a daughter of John and Isabella Burt Badger, and was married to William Jardine July 3, 1909, in Ogden.  He died in 1944.
Mrs. Jardine had lived in Standrod, Ida. most of her life, and had been for many years a practical nurse and midwife in that area.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Among those who survive her are the following sons and daughters: Lawrence B. Jardine, Malta, Ida.; Mrs. Hammer and Mrs. Violet Ward, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Lillie Lythgoe, Heber City; and the following brothers, George, Heyburn, Ida.; Pete, Malta and LeRoy Badger, Rupert, Ida.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 1 p.m. in Malta LDS ward, with J.H. Thompson, bishop, officiating.  Burial will be in Standrod cemetery. Friends may call Saturday and Sunday at 35 E. 7th South, and at the chapel in Malta one hour prior to the services.

William Jardine, 62, 3114 S. State, died en route to Salt Lake general hospital Saturday at 1:30 p.m. of a heart attack.
He was born in Scotland, Sept. 28 1881, son of John and Joan Bothwell Jardine.
He came to the United States in 1904 and had lived at Stanley, Ida., 38 years, where he was engaged in stock raising and ranching.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rose Thather* Jardine, Strevell, Ida.; a son, Lawrence B. Jardine, Malta, Ida.; three daughters; Mrs. Lillie Lythgoe, Mrs. Bonnie Hammer and Mrs. Violet Ward, Salt Lake City; a brother, Lawrence Jardine, Saskatchewan, Canda, and a sister, Mrs. Leila Florsch, Kenara, Ont., Canada.
Friends may call at 36 E. 7th South pending funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Hannah White Lythgoe, 74, who died Tuesday at 8 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ruth J. Hampton, 3341 S. State, of causes incident to age, will be conducted Friday at 1 p.m. in the Miller LDS ward chapel, with Herbert W. Urry, bishop, Eldridge ward, officiating.
Mrs. Lythgoe was born in Salt Lake Aug. 21, 1870, a daughter of Patriarch Edward and Eliza Howick White and had lived here throughout her life.  She was married to John Thomas Lythgoe March 5, 1890.  A member of the Eldridge LDS ward, she was an ardent worker in the Relief Society.
She is survived by three sons, John E., George W. and Allen W. Lythgoe, all of Salt Lake; four daughter, Mrs. Hannah Dempsey, Mrs. Ruth J. Hampton, Mrs. Mary Porschatis, all of Salt Lake, amd Mrs Faye Gunnell, Strevell, Idaho; 22 grandchildren and nin great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at 2128 S. State Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and at the home, 3341 S. State, Friday from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Burial will be in Wasatch Lawn Memorial park.

John T. Lythgoe
John Thomas Lythgoe, 87, 609 Cheyenne St., died Thursday at 6 a.m. at 535 E. 2nd Ave., of natural causes.
Born May 16, 1867, in Coalville, a son of John T. and Catherine Booth Lythgoe.  He was a former lumberman and farmer, Member of the Edison Ward, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and former high councilman in Granite Stake.  Married Hannah White March 5, 1890.  She died in 1944, then in 1946 he married Della Mae Burt.
Survivors include, widow; four daughters, three sons, John E. Lythgoe, Clearfield; Mrs. Lyle Casper, Mary Porschatis, Mrs. Ruth Kempton, Salt Lake City; George Lythgoe, Heber City; Mrs. Faye Gunnell, Strevell, Idaho; Allen W. Lythgoe, Salt Lake City; one brother, one sister, William Horston, Cowley, Wyo.; Mrs. Racheal Capson, Salt Lake City; 21 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday 2 p.m. at 260 E. South Temple.  Fridns may call Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday prior to services.  Burial Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.

Lillie Lythgoe
HEBER CITY- Lillie Grace Jardine Lythgoe, 87, our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend passed away Septermber 1, 1998 in Heber City, Utah.
She was born in a dirt roofed log cabin on February 14, 1911 in Standrod, Idaho to William and Rosetta Badger Jardine.  She married George W. Lythgoe on July 3, 1929 in Farmington, Utah.  They were later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 14, 1987.  Lillie's life was devoted to the service of others.  She was a World War II volunteer nurse at Salt Lake Co. Hospital and drove a truck at Tooele Army Depot.  Upon moving to Heber she worked at the old Heber Hospital, Wasatch Co. Hospital, and Lydia's Care Center.  They built and operated the Lythgoe Motor Lodge and Cafe.
Lillie is survived by a son, Hartley (Shirley) Lythgoe; two daughters, Jacqueline (Albert) Winterrose, and Sandra (Bud) Sulser.  She also has 11 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a cousin, Ginevieve Udy Elison, raised as a sister; and a brother-in-law, Alfred Ward.
The family wishes to give a special thanks to the caregivers at the Rocky Mtn. Care Center for their loving care.  We shall all miss her companionship, friendship and love.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 1998 at 11a.m. at the Heber 7th Ward (240 E. 400 S.) in Heber City where firends may call 9:30-11 a.m. prior to service.  Interment will be in the Heber City Cemetery in the care of Olpin Mortuary.

Born August 18, 1902, Salt Lake City, to John Thomas and Hannah White Lythgoe.  Married Lillie Jardine July 3, 1929, in Farmington, Utah.  He was a kind and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Survived by: Wife, Heber City; son and daughters, Hartley Lythgoe, and Mrs. Albert (Jacqueline) Winterrose, both Heber City; Mrs. Bud (Sandra) Sulser, Vernal; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Faye Gunnell, Layton.
